Volunteer with us
The foundation runs on volunteers. Outreach camps, classrooms, water points and emergency response all depend on people who show up.
Where volunteers make the difference.
Medical professionals
Doctors, nurses and paramedics for outreach camps and emergency deployments. During the Maiduguri flood response, 35 volunteers and 10 assistants ran a camp that treated flood-affected residents on site.
Teachers and facilitators
For the Illmu project in displacement camps, and for revision workshops with students preparing for JAMB and WAEC.
Drivers and logistics
Moving supplies, transporting patients and reaching communities that are hard to get to, especially during emergencies.
Translators
Kanuri, Hausa, Shuwa Arabic and Fulfulde speakers, so that no one is served through a language they do not use at home.
Media and communications
Photographers, writers and social media help, so the work gets documented as it happens.
We work with children and with survivors of gender-based violence. Every volunteer completes a safeguarding check and an induction before their first deployment. This is not a formality and there are no exceptions.
